Master Dieter Doens was born in Moorslede, Belgium in 1963. His parents owned a bakery and while helping them, Dieter learned a lot about the baking of fine bread and the famous, delicious Belgian pastries.
As a young man Dieter dreamed of owning his own chocolatery some day.
While earning his living as a truck driver, he followed his passion and developed his chocolate-making skills. He followed various courses, obtained various certificates and worked with a genuine Belgian chocolate-maker, who taught him all there is to know about this fine art.
Dieter is happy to have his dream come true in this beautiful, tropical island. He enjoys experimenting with new combinations of coatings and fillings. His pralines with mango and banana cream filling have already become favourites among his local customers.
